Getting Started with notifySphere
Overview
notifySphere is a multi-channel notification and engagement platform. From one app you can send push notifications, run WhatsApp messaging, manage support tickets, segment users, and run engagement campaigns. This guide walks a new team member through the core concepts and where to find each feature.
Step 1: Create or Select an App
Everything in notifySphere is scoped to an "app" (your product/project). Start on the All Apps page.
- Go to All Apps
- Click "New App" to register a new app, or select an existing one to open its dashboard
- Each app has its own settings, users, campaigns, and message history
Step 2: Configure Notification Channels
Every app can send through one or more channels. Set up at least one to start sending.
Push (Android / iOS / Web)
Settings → Messaging, then add your Firebase credentials — see the Firebase Credentials guide for the full walkthrough.
App → WhatsApp section. One-time setup: paste your Phone Number ID, WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA), and an Access Token from Meta — your token is stored encrypted. Manage templates and send messages from the same section afterward.
API Keys
Settings → API Keys — generate a per-app key to send notifications programmatically from your backend.
Step 3: Manage Your Audience
- Users: view and manage individual subscribers under an app's Users page
- Segments: group users by attributes/behavior to target messages
- Subscriptions: track push subscription status per device
Step 4: Send & Track Messages
- Push Notification: compose and send one-off or scheduled push messages
- Engage → Campaigns: build multi-step engagement campaigns
- Engage → OneLink: create smart deep links for campaigns
- Sent Messages / Scheduled Messages: review delivery reports and pending sends
Step 5: Customer Support
Each app has its own support desk: Tickets, Customers, Team Members, and Groups/Fields for routing. Team members with limited roles only see the support workspace for their assigned app.
